Peanut Butter and Banana"Ice-cream"
I love ice-cream so much, that I can't buy a tub or I will eat some every single day. Recently, after going dairy free, I wanted to find a healthier alternative to the dessert I enjoy so much.
This ice-cream is sure to make you feel better about indulging in a late night treat. The one I made is a Peanut Butter Banana "Ice-Cream" but feel free to add your own toppings. You can substitue the peanutbutter with chocoalte, fruit, etc. Here is how I made mine:
2 bananas (frozen)
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1/4 cup almond milk (as needed)
- Cut bananas into 1 inch pieces.
- Add chopped bananas to the blender.
- Add peanutbutter.
- Start blender.
- Add almond milk slowly as needed. The more almond milk you add the thinner the ice cream will be. My blender is not that strong so I ended up needing to use the full amount.
Serve cold and enjoy!
